GGM Africa identifies as an abnormally creative communications agency.
We didn't start as an agency. We started as two students who couldn't stand boring content.
Long before there was GGM, there were two Mass Communication students at the University of Ilorin, a lot of curiosity, and an unreasonable belief that good communication could get brands noticed.
Back in 2019, Afolashade and Joshua were freelance writers, working with brands and businesses to create content that didn’t just fill pages — it got found.
Together, we helped brands generate millions of impressions across Google and other search engines. Then the work grew. Content became marketing. Marketing became PR. PR became campaigns. And somewhere along the way, we realised we weren’t just freelancers supporting each other on projects.
We were already a team.
For years, we worked together behind the scenes — developing campaigns, building narratives, creating content, managing communications and helping brands get the attention they deserved.
Then, in 2026, we decided to stop calling it a coincidence.
GGM Africa was born.
Built on experience. Driven by curiosity. Slightly allergic to boring.
Greater Good Marketing Africa is the agency we built to bring that same partnership, creativity and strategic thinking to brands at a bigger scale.
Between us, we bring 12 years of combined industry experience across marketing, communications, digital strategy, PR, design, and brand building.

Holds a Master’s in International Relations from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
And we’re not doing this alone but with a team of writers, strategists, designers, marketers and communications specialists who are very good at what they do — and even better at thinking beyond the brief.
Our work has taken us into rooms with organisations including UNFPA, the Australian Government, YAP Media, Wikipedia, Advert Metrics UK, Product Curve, Free Knowledge Africa, Virety 360, DDPF and TracTrac, among others.
We've worked with global names and ambitious unknowns, and we bring the same energy to both.
So, why “Greater Good”?
- → To make your brand clearer.
- → Your story sharper.
- → Your campaigns harder to ignore.
- → And your good work much harder to overlook.
We make good brands great.
And average brands uncomfortable.
That’s GGM Africa. For the greater good. Yours, specifically.
